Warm Temperatures are Here! Can Your Pool Take the Heat?

As we head into Memorial Day weekend, many across our nation are planning to spend time with family and friends, remembering those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.

Warm Temperatures are Here! Can Your Pool Take the Heat?

Before you head out for your weekend plans, Aquanomics Pools would like to remind you of three important things regarding your poolside gatherings.

  1. As temperatures spike, be sure that your pool equipment is running ten to twelve hours a day. By keeping your pump, generator, vacuum, and filtration system running from morning until late afternoon, the chemical make-up of your pool will be able to remain constant during the time when you most depend on these chemicals to keep your family safe from harmful bacteria. The suns rays can have a detrimental effect on chlorine, so keeping chemical levels constant is crucial!
  2. Do not let the excitement of the weekend distract you from keeping your eye on any non-swimmers. Young children move quickly. Taking your eyes off of them for even a moment can be disastrous, so always watch them in, and around the water.
  3. Remember the brave men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Memorial Day is not intended to be a celebration of the arrival of summer. Memorial Day is a day that is set aside to commemorate the lives of so many who understood that the world needs heroes. This weekend, take a moment to remember them, and celebrate the courageous lives they lived in the time they were given.
